At Westminster we seek to uplift, encourage and comfort Christ’s church and all people through a growing and grace-filled pastoral ministry. Whether one is called to serve or seeks help, Westminster has open arms eager to receive and care. Westminster nurtures through caring ministry that meets practical needs, as well as pastoral counseling and spiritual growth.

Rev. Dr. Paul Kirbas, Rev. Michelle Junkin, Glenn Dunn and Ross Howard staff our Pastoral Care ministry. They visit members and friends who are hospitalized, in nursing homes/assisted living and who are home ill.

Meet the Newest Member of our Congregational Care Team

Long time Stephen Minister and congregation member, Glenn Dunn, is Westminster's assistant to Congregational Care. Glenn works in collaboration with our entire pastoral staff and under the supervision of Rev. Michelle Junkin aiding in extending outreach, visitation care, and concern of congregational care ministry of WPC.  Glenn is active within the pastoral care rotation with weekly assignments of days to make hospital calls, nursing home visits, and occasional home visits to members identified by the Pastoral Staff and/or Pastoral Care team as being unable to attend church or regularly fellowship with our congregation. Glenn has begun the process of investigation and beginning steps of becoming a Certified Ruling Elder. In conjunction with this process, he has begun taking classes and enrolled as a student with Austin Seminary. Glenn served with Hillenbrand Industries and with Matthews International Corporation in the funeral service profession for 36 years and retired from that vocation in December 2014.  Please extend a hearty thank you to Glenn for the many ways he serves the church!
