Programs for Your Young Child (birth – pre-K)
Parenting young children is a big job. Your spiritual formation is as important as your children's, so please enjoy Sunday School Class (with link to adult ed opportunities). In addition to the Cornerstone class (Room LL 29) that explores issues of parenting and faith formation, periodically throughout the year we offer special programs for parents of all aged children
During worship services and other church-sponsored events, young children can participate in:
- Nursery care for children ages 4 and under. Caregivers are delighted to rock and play with your children while you are here. Babies 3 months or older are welcome.
- Church School for children ages 18 month – 4 years each Sunday at 9:30am. The children experience young children and worship. Your child will hear Bible stories, make music and enjoy plenty of movement. During the summer, potty-trained 3-year-olds and up (and small children of parents who are participating) can be a part of Vacation Bible School.
- These children attend worship with their parents and then are escorted to their age appropriate classes after Time with Children in worship. Staff and Shepherds will escort the children to their classes. Parents pick them up at the end of the worship hour.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) is open for children 3 and up if they are potty-trained. For parents who volunteer at VBS we have special programming for all their children 3 and younger and/or in diapers.
