Animal Well-FAIR Sunday

Our St. Francis Day

Sunday, October 1 is known as St. Francis Day in the historical church. St. Francis was passionate about the needs of animals, so in his honor, we will be holding an Animal Well Fair on the Manor Lawn on Sunday, October 1, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Our Fair for Animal welfare will include the following:

A Pastoral Blessing of the Animals

Our pastors will offer individual prayers for your pets, and will offer your pet a special tag for      their collar or cage to commemorate the blessing

Ask a Vet Booth

A veterinarian will be on hand to answer questions you may have concerning the care of your pet. Please know that this is just an advice event, and no medical treatment will be offered.

Oklahoma Food, Farm, and Family Booth

The Oklahoma Food, Farm, and Family Organization will have a booth with important information concerning upcoming issues regarding animal welfare and environmental care for our state.

Food Trucks

We will have a few food trucks on hand for tasty snacks and treats. We will also have treats for the pets!

The Humane Society Adopt a Pet Tent

The Humane Society will be here with adoptable pets. A sponsor has graciously underwritten the adoption fees, so a simple $25.00 processing fee will be all you will need to pay for a loveable pet.

A Memorial Booth

For those who have lost a dear pet, we will offer a place for you to remember your pet. You are welcome to bring flowers to lay at this booth.

A Portrait Booth

You will have the opportunity to have a picture taken or portrait made of your pet, either on its own or with you.

...and MORE

Our Animal Well Fair event is a great event for the whole community. Please help us share the word with anyone who has a pet, or wants a pet. Let’s fill our Manor Lawn with all creatures, great and small!
