Jamaica 2012: June 9-16
It has been a couple of years since our last Jamaica mission trip but it is time to go back! You can find lots of information about this trip by visiting the Youth Conference Ministries web site for SonServants Mission trips.
Cost: $1799.00 (discount of $200 for Sunday School attendance) or $1599.00. The price includes rt airfare from OKC to Montego Bay, transportation in Jamaica, housing, and meals. Not included is meals while traveling or spending money.
Who: Students who have completed 8th grade through high school.
Space: We have reserved 15 spots, when those are gone we will try to get more subject to available flights and trip capacity. So far 3 are already taken so there are 12 left!

Fun in the Son--yes, there is a beach!
The dates for the conference are July 8-13. If we drive (which is likely), you need to add a day each way (July 7-14). This is a new trip for us at Westminster Pres but it is a conference I have been on with the two other churches I worked for and can share with you first hand what a great experience your kids will have if they go!

What is "Fun in the Son"?
For over 30 years, Fun in the Son has been presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to high school kids in real and authentic ways. Since its inception of 300 kids on Jekyll Island in 1977, Fun in the Son has ministered to thousands of young people who are still following Christ.
Fun in the Son happens in South Padre Island, Texas and Jekyll Island, Georgia. These events provide an environment of love and acceptance that allows adolescents to feel safe, secure, and accepted. It is in this atmosphere that the Gospel is presented through music, speaking and creative arts, and most importantly, through the relationship students experience with their leaders. At its best, Fun in the Son seeks to allow leaders to spend quality time with their students.
