Blanketeers - Seamstresses create crib size quilts for Infant Crisi Services. They meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30 in Room 104 to piece quilts and then they put them together at home.

Knit N Purls - Knitters gather to make booties to welcome newborns into the chruch family. They aslo make lap robes and prayer shawls for members in nursing homes, retirement homes or those who are ill at home. The knitters meet bimonthly

Mobile Meals - Several teams of cooks prepare and drivers deliver 20-30 meals every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The recipients are nambed by the Area Wide Aging Agency.

Stephen Ministry - One on one care giving ministry providing comfort through prayer and listening. This is a two year commitment with training.

Care Teams - Provide compassionate support to WPC members and friends who may be grieving, in a health crisis, or require long-term care. Call the church to volunteer.

S.P.A.R.K. (Support Program of Art and Reading for Kids)

Tutor students from Horace Mann Elementary Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in reading, art, dance, crafts and music. Cooks are needed to fix dinner on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Infant Crisis Services - This organization was started from a group of women in a Sunday School class at WPC to support mothers and children in need. Volunteers are scheduled MOnday through Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 - noon.

Kids Hope - Tutoring/mentoring kids at risk at Monroe Elementary. One child per tutor and one hour a week to tutor.

Presbyterian Urban Mission - Volunteers are needed any day from 9 - 3 for sorting donations, monthly mailings and helping in the Thrift Shop.

Pew Crew - Vollunteers meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm to arrange hymnals and Bibles in the pews throughout the Sanctuary. Pens, envelopes and attendance registers are also checked.
